Asynchronous delivery is learning that is provided to students and accessed when they choose. Asynchronous delivery allows students to self-pace their learning and access resources and support as needed

AC Online students can expect:

  • No pre-determined login times or scheduled classes

  • No required Zoom sessions

  • No pre-recorded video lectures

  • Courses are self-directed, with set assessment deadlines

  • Courses are accessible online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during each term

  • Courses are led by a facilitator instead of a professor: the facilitator's role is to grade assessments, provide feedback and support course related inquiries through the discussion forum or email

It’s important to note that while online students can log in any time to complete work at the time best suited to them, AC Online courses are structured to include deadlines and due dates. Students are expected to submit all assessments within the pre-defined timelines as posted in each course.
