How do I apply to a full-time online program?
If you are interested in applying to a full-time program you need to complete an application through Ontario Colleges. Once your application is received, our Registrar's Office will be in touch with you by email regarding your next steps.
Where do I submit my transcripts?
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or other supporting transcripts can be submitted as part of your Full-time Program Applications directly through Ontario Colleges. Do not wait to submit this supporting documentation as it may delay the processing of your application.
How can I track my application?
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an acknowledgement email which contains your Algonquin College student number and next steps. This number should be kept confidential, and in a safe place as you will need to reference it in all communication with the college, and you will use your student number to access our Algonquin College Student Information System (ACSIS). As an applicant, you will use ACSIS to track the progress of your application and view any outstanding admissions requirements.
The Registrar’s Office will email you directly if there are any outstanding documents or assessments required to advance your application, but it is advised that you continue to track your application on ACSIS to ensure timely submission of any supporting documentation.
How do I know if I require admissions testing?
Full-time applicants must meet the specific program eligibility requirements in order to be accepted into a program of study. The eligibility requirements can be found on the program description page under the Application/Admission Information heading. For more information, please visit the Program Requirements website
Once your application is received, the Registrar’s Office will be in touch with you directly to confirm if additional testing is required.
What if my program has additional eligibility requirements?
