Can I take a program requiring placement if I am not located in Ottawa?
Learners in all programs are able to complete their placements outside of the Ottawa area as long as there are agencies in your area that meet the requirements for your program. Some rural areas may require learners to travel to a qualifying agency.
Depending on your program, you may be responsible for finding your own placement, you may have to submit top choices for placement in your area, or you may be placed at partner organizations outside of the Ottawa region.
How do I request a Police Records Check Letter?
