Who can I contact for online learning support?
At Algonquin College, student success is our first priority. If you are having difficulty with your course(s) or program, we are always happy to help.
Further information regarding each of these supports are outlined below.
What is the role of the online facilitator?
Our online courses are supported by a course facilitator. While the facilitator supports student learning, they do not lecture or deliver the course material in the traditional way you may expect from face to face instructors. Facilitators are available to support student questions via email or course discussion boards, as well as to provide clarity, grades and feedback on assessments.
How can I find my facilitator contact information?
All questions related to course material, including but not limited to, quizzes, lessons, assignments, etc. should be directed to your course facilitator. Our facilitators do not work onsite at the college, therefore contacting them over email or your course discussion board will be the best way to reach them.
To confirm your facilitator contact information, please follow the instructions below:
- Log into Brightspace and select the course.
- Click on Content from the top panel.
- Click on Course information from the left side panel.
- Click on the first topic Meet your Facilitator. Your facilitator introduction and contact information will be found here.
